There was a long pause, not only for Ignis to put together his thoughts, but also just to ensure when Shane had finished, careful not to cut him off if there were more. But even as it was, that seemed an awful lot to juggle at the moment, and doubtless there was still plenty more. His frown deepened, looking at Shane with a thoughtful intensity.

And, with much more uncertainty, though he tried not to let it show, extending a hand out for him across the desk.
