Office Hours: Office #27; Thursday [01/20].

When Ignis came into his office that morning for his now again regular office hours, he...had not expected to find that it had been rather oddly redecorated. Perhaps redecorated wasn't quite the word for it, but, needless to say, when he opened the door and discovered his office appeared to be a grassy field instead of a room, with an outcropping of rock instead of a desk, well...

All he could do was just put a hand on his hip, considered it carefully, and decided it was best not to think about it too hard. Fandom was clearly having a thing right now, and he could just hope that whatever that thing was would just pass quickly, and, in the meantime, he supposed he would just enjoy the fresh air and the fact that the weather inside his office was much nicer than the weather outside of it.

They certainly hadn’t because a very different person appeared all together.

“Hey man,” Goose grinned, giving Ignis a thumbs up.

He had no idea where he actually was or what was happening but well he would tell Maverick about this weird experience later.

You know assuming he got back and there wasn’t any unfortunate piloting accidents or anything like that.

Ignis's head ducked for a moment as he opened his mouth to comment on yet another unexpected turn of events in his conversation with Goose...who seemed to be perfectly unable to stay consistent, or even himself, apparently...closed his mouth again, and reconsidered.

"Right," he concluded. "Definitely a Fandom thing."

And so now he was just going to wait, to see what might happen to Goose next.

Goose would say something only he had turned into Goose the cat again and was very hungry apparently by the way he opened his mouth and began reaching around for any kind of food.

Well, out of all of Goose's almost dizzying alteration and transformations in the past few minutes, this was clearly Ignis's favorite, as he couldn't help beaming at the cat with an incredibly rare toothy grin.

"Maybe," he said, unable to help himself, "we should continue this conversation later, Goose, when you're feline better..."

And he would probably be facepalming over that one a lot later. Or perhaps even in just a few moment.

Goose clearly hadn’t liked that joke because he was back to being his normal self but brandishing his charger weapon.

He was also back to being shirtless apparently.

He blinked in confusion, “okay this is weird, even for me,” he declared.

And though Ignis was pretty sure in a moment, that gun would be as nonexistant as Goose's shirt as well as his current state of perminence, he figured it would be best to just stand still, hands loose at his side, in a standard non-threatening pose...but one that he could very easily move from if necessary.

"Indeed," he said slowly. "It would appear as though reality is being somewhat manipulated in a way where you're unable to maintain a certain status for too long. I appear to be far less affected," because he was pretty much the straight man even in his selection of icons, apparently, "so I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this, or if it is somehow focused on just you."

He certainly hoped it wasn't just Goose; the man had enough to deal with without adding this to it, as well!

Goose didn’t say anything, not at first.

The weapon vanished only now Goose was very suspicious of his surroundings and he was trying to conceal his identity so that no one would recognise him. Even though there was currently only one person in the room.

He was the Galaxy Stranger, one of the top fighters in the Galaxy. This was why you didn’t let 19 year olds come up with an alias when you were trying to infiltrate an underground fighting competition.

“Well it’s certainly different,” he sighed, once he had gotten over his sudden paranoia, “I hope it’s an island wide thing,” it would be just his luck if this was only happening to him.

The wide open field of Ignis's office seemed to shift and become a suddenly breathtaking view of the city of Altissia, but if Ignis even noticed the change, he didn't show it. His attention seemed much more focused on Goose, as he lifted an arm to lean comfortably on some sort of high railing, a light smirk playing on his lips.

"I understand that I'm coming at this from a privledged and unaffected point of view," he admitted, "but I have to admit, it is rather interesting," his grin grew just that tiny bit more, "getting to see so many different sides," and shapes!, "of you today."

Goose had noticed that the background behind Ignis had changed only he became distracted when he found himself being joined by Niko and Captain Kidd.

Needless to say they were both were rather confused when they suddenly appeared in Fandom.

Even though Niko was more amused, “Is this one of these Fandom things you told us about?” she glanced between Ignis and Goose.

It was one thing to have Goose going through a rapid set of changes, but now, apparently, there were other people involved, and quite frankly, this was starting to be enough to give Ignis a bit of a headache. He sighed, running a hand back over his head, through his hair a little (and being...a bit unnecessarily sultry about it, too, while he was at it), as if that would help.

Well there was even more people joining him now, including the rest of his team, his CO snd Q-Ball randomly.

“What in the blazes have you done now Ranger Gooseman!” Commander Walsh yelled because it was clearly Goose’s fault.

Also he didn’t seem to notice Ignis or his headache. So sorry about that Ignis.

Well, it would seem that Ignis wasn't nearly as bothered by it now, as he found himself just completely ignoring the small fleet of Galaxy Rangers in his newly Altissia-based office and instead preferring to pick up a nearby recipe book and flip it open to start reading.

Clearly, whatever was going on didn't involve him any longer, he might as well still be productive, in a way.

Goose winced at the yelling but then it was just him and Doc standing back to back.

“Why hello there,” Doc said cheerfully to Ignis, he actually didn’t seem all that bothered that he had just randomly appeared in Fandom.

Even though his head really was starting to spin between all these people being here and then suddenly not being there, things seemed to have settled slightly, and now that he was being addressed, it would be rude to just completely ignore Goose and all his friends now, and he met Doc's greeting with a nod and a faint smile.

"Hello," he said, and offered out a hand. "I...don't believe we've had the chance to meet?"

And he had a sneaking suspicion that, in just a moment, they still wouldn't have.

Well it was just going to get worse, there was his team again and Buzzwang.

Surprisingly Doc was still there, he reached over to shake Ignis’ hand, “Doctor Walter Hartford,” he said with a flourish, “my friends call me Doc,”

It actually was surprising that Doc stuck around long enough for Ignis to shake his hand. As well as, somehow, terribly despressing, too, as Ignis frowned deeply in response.

"Ah, yes," he said. "I've heard quite a few things about your from Mr. Gooseman, Doc."

Goose was back to being by himself now and really confused about the whole thing.

“Huh?” was all he could think of to say when he realised no one else was with him.
