Well. There certainly was at least one interesting change that was going about on the island, and Ignis had to admit to having a little bit of curiosity over how this whole moving thing was going to work out for Prompto. But they were all in agreement that as long as he didn't let it interfere with his work (which also meant still being up and ready for their constantly handwaved morning training sessions), then there really shouldn't be much of an issue with it, and, honestly, Ignis was rather looking forward to having at least one less person around to spoil that cat of Seivarden's.
He might actually start making some progress with Issa now.
...for someone who held his own intelligence in such high regard, Ignis, apparently, could still manage to be an utter fool on some things.
But, as it were, he was in his office again this week, fine tuning some of his lesson plans and wondering if it would be too thematic to focus on things like settling into a new household tomorrow.

He had been considering that if he was going to actually be using his kitchen he should figure out the whole grocery shopping thing and normally he’d ask Doc but he and Niko were away on a mission so he couldn’t ask.
“Hey Ignis,” he said as he knocked, feeling rather awkward as he stood in the doorway, “are you busy?”

Mostly.
"But nothing so urgent that I can't spare a few moments for a friend and colleague," he added, gesturing toward one of the chairs in front of his desk. "Please, come in. Have a seat."

“Thank you,” Goose did eventually take the offered seat, “I - er …I’m sorry to bother you and I would normally ask Doc but he’s on a mission right now and…” Goose was still not used to actually asking people for help so his voice trailed off uncertainly.

His attention went entirely to Goose, hands folding before him on the desk.
"What's on your mind?"
no subject
“Um…I thought it would probably be a good idea to keep my fridge stocked if I was to use it more only um …I don’t know how to …uh …what’s needed for …er grocery shopping,” he admitted.
If anyone needed a Home ec class it was Goose.

And then he considered what he'd been working on and considered that he still hadn't quite finalized exactly where to take the class next, and, well, he always was rather fond of efficiency...
"You know, Goose," he mused, tilting his head thoughtfully as he leaned back in his chair and considered the other man, "this is actually a topic that could be quite useful to my class this semester. It might be a bit...unconventional, but how would you feel about auditing it tomorrow? Swing by and sit in as I go over that very topic with my students?"

But a brow did arch coolly over the fact that what was meant for a quip was a genuine concern.
(It would be a problem that Goose, apparently, shared with the King of Lucis, but he wouldn't discover that particular oversight for a few more months still).
Then Ignis gave a soft, thoughtful hum as he remembered more about Goose's past and leaned forward again, fingers now steepled in front of him.
"I assume," he ventured, "it's never something you had to necessarily worry about, before."
