After a whole week in a different country on a still very foreign planet (despite its similiarities to his own), Ignis almost thought about calling in that favor from Summer for covering his class one of these days for his covering hers that one time and sticking to Insomnia for the weekend, but he ultimately would have actually felt bad about neglecting his duties here, even if those duties were foisted on him by forces well beyond his control.
One could argue the same for his duties back in Insomnia, too, but those duties were practically dyed in the wool.
So he was, of course, back in Fandom that Thursday as usual, having indulged back in the habit of a stop at the perk before heading into the quiet of his office, where he was still catching up on things from last week (despite having attempted to keep up as best he could while on vacation) and still trying to decide on exactly where to take the class in the upcoming weeks.
Business as usual, really, which was precisely how Ignis prefer things to be.
[[ open door, open office, of course! ]]
