Office Hours: Office #27; Thursday [01/14].
Even if someone had told Ignis that no one really actually kept regular office hours at this school these days, he would most certainly still insist on bucking the trend. After all, if they were giving him an office, he may as well use it, right? Not only that, but he wasn't even around for the better portion of the week, it was the least he could do for his students to make himself available on a day outside of their class should he be needed for anything. He still thought this teaching business was ridiculous, but that was no reason why he shouldn't at least try to do the best job he could with it.
Besides, he had to admit, it was actually...kind of nice. Quiet. Space to himself, which was exceedingly rare, for him to think and process his thoughts without too much interruption or other matters pressing in on him. And since he already had his lesson plans set for the semester, it gave him some time to actually pour over some documents and treaties from home that he'd been meaning to get to, but hadn't actually been able to find the time.
At some point, with a sip from his coffee and considering getting more, he looked at the stack of papers he'd managed to comb through already and was impressed by his own productivity.
He could actually get used to something like this!
