Ignis set down his spoon, leaning forward on the table with his elbows, linking his fingers together in front of him thoughtfully. It was easily a topic to put him off his appetite, but at least, by this point, he had mostly finished anyway.
"Remarkable, isn't it," he mused with a dry him, "how some people play with fire, and then are utterly shocked when they eventually get burned."
He was quiet for a long, thoughtful moment before his gaze shifted steadily back to Shane.
"I understand," he finally said, "that my purview on the matter is limited in scope to what is in front of me now. But...from this vantage point, I certainly don't see a mess."
